Yes, we have used the Sony RX100 for video also. Since there is no specific
gimbal available for that camera, the GoPro3 black with gimbal provides
superior raw video. When possible (like for this property), we will fly FPV
under the treeline if there is sufficient clearance to capture the perfect
shot. This is a bit more difficult than flying above the treeline though. 🙂
Do you ever use the Sony camera for video? Quality is excellent, and no
fisheye effect. Of course, it’s a heavier camera. Also, do you ever get
nervous flying under the treeline FPV?
